Summer Travel Destination – Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona is a beautiful and vibrant city in Spain and I was gone for 4 days in the summer. I have to say that “City of Gaudi” impressed me: nice people, great weather, palm trees everywhere and beautiful buildings.

Explore the city on foot, it’s the best way because on every corner you will see something: modernist architecture, parks, shopping streets or museums.

From and to airport (one way)
– bus: Aerobus 5.90 €
– train: 4.1€
– metro: 4.5€
– taxi cab: 25-40€

Accommodation: there are more apartments than hotels or hostels. The prices are for everyone and only 10% of accommodation have breakfast included. You will have to pay a city tax, depending on the star rating of accommodation, between 0,65€ to 2,25€ per person, per night.

What to eat: paella, tapas, crema Catalana

What to see:
Casa Batllo and Sagrada Familia
