Review – CoolSculpting/Cryolipolysis

Welcome back!

Today I’m going to talk for the first time about a new subject, body contouring. I have to get straightforward and tell you that I have problems with my belly area, no matter how hard I trained or how clean I ate I still had fat that I can’t get rid off it.

So, I start searching for an additional solution to help my belly to get slimmer, and CoolSculpting or Cryolipolysis appeared to be a great treatment.

“Cryolipolysis is a medical treatment used to destroy fat cells by freezing. The functional principle is the controlled application of cooling, within the temperature range of +5 to −5 °C, for the non-invasive, localized reduction of fat deposits, in order to reshape the contours of the body. The degree of exposure to cooling causes the apoptosis (cell death) of subcutaneous fat tissue, without apparent damage to the overlying skin. As a medical procedure, cryolipolysis is a nonsurgical alternative to liposuction.” Source: here

The frozen fat cells, over time, will be eliminated by our body naturally and the great part is that those fat cells will never come back.

Meanwhile, I found out that a new beauty clinique has open in Iasi and they had a great price for the treatment, so I made an appointment. It’s a 70 minutes procedure that consists in placing a vacuum device that sucks in the skin and freezes the fat up to −8°C. I felt uncomfortable for the first 10 minutes, it wasn’t pain, but after that, the whole area got numbed. After the treatment, I didn’t have side effects, but those can be local redness, bruising and numbness.

– after 3 months I lost 3 cm

– very pricey

I was recommended to do 2 treatments for a great result, but in my opinion, the price is too high for the results, for example in my case 3 cm it wasn’t noticeable. My advice will be if you have the money go for it and try more than one treatment, to see any result, but if you don’t, work harder at the gym/home and try massage instead.

Have you tried CoolSculpting/Cryolipolysis?

Chill Winter Night

Welcome back!

I really enjoy winter, I don’t mind the lower temperatures, the snow and the layers of clothes. After a log day, it’s so great to come back home and get comfy and cosy. So, today I’m going to show you how my chill winter nights looks like.

When I come back home the first thing that I do is getting a bath. It’s a nice way to warm up and make my skin softer by using a salt bath. To relax not just my body but also my mind I use aromatherapy, in the wintertime I enjoy the cinnamon, apple and orange oils.Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

After that, I like to get in my comfy clothes that are of course Christmas themed.Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

What a chill night it would be without watching some TV shows? I get my fluffy blanket, a cup of tea and I enjoy watching Elementary, similar to the Sherlock series (I’m a fan of puzzle series).

Time for sleep, but not until I changed in my sleepwear, I like cute things made from soft materials and I’ve found for you some cute pieces on AdoreMe, you can check them here and here, but feel free to find some other things.

And I end the night with some reading.Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

DIY – Notebook

I’m starting this week by challenging you to get creative with a DIY, it’s a great way to express yourself and relax at the same time. So, in today’s post, I’m going to show you how to make your own notebook, it’s very easy and cheap.

What you will need:Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

1. Scissors
2. Paper
3. Ruler
4. Pen
5. Stapler
6. Metal rings
7. Cover for the notebook

First stepProcessed with VSCO with a5 preset

For me, it was quite challenging to find a cover for my notebook. I recommend something stiff like cardboard, for example, I found a nice place mat, but you can use whatever you like. Then you will have to measure your cover and cut it.

Step two:Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

Use the stapler to create the holes for the rings.

Final step:Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

Now all you need to do is put together the cover, paper and the metal rings. You can find the metal rings on eBay if interested go here.

That’s it, I told you that it will be easy and don’t forget to get creative!

October Through My Instagram

I’m starting this week with a new series, I hoped you would like it.

Instagram for me is a fun way to be creative, practice my photography skills and of course to get inspired. At first, I uploaded photos that I like, but visually I wasn’t pleased, I had a theme in my mind but I didn’t know how to achieve it.

For the last 2-3 months, I’ve learned how to have a theme, what tools/background/apps to use for my photos and I think I figure it out, but I want to play more with my creativity and upload more frequently.

So, here are my photos and let me know what you think:

1. Oatmeal is one of my favourite breakfast, so delicious.
2. I love to get inspired and Pixabay offers many free pictures.
3. Excited for Paris!
4. I have this photo since June (I think), but I wanted to upload at the same time with the blog post, here you can find the review.

1. My first eBay haul and if you are interested you can read the blog post here.
2. My first time trying a Balea product.
3. Another inspiring photo from Pixabay.
4. My second eBay haul, the post is here.

Have a great week!

Ebay Haul (En&Ro)

Welcome back!

As I mentioned in my first eBay haul, Ebay Haul (En&Ro), I have a lot of thinks to show you, from beauty to hair tools, so if you like this kind of post keep reading.

I receive these products without any problem, on time and as described. Unfortanly, because I order them like a year ago, some of the sellers no longer have the items but I’m going to let similar links.

Round Brush
I love a voluminous hair, so I wanted a big brush to achieve that. I really like it, the handler is from rubber and it’s not heavy.
Price: 2.4€
Link: here (similar)

Well, I bought this to tease my hair, you know for that big voluminous hair, but I’m not achieving the result I want and I think is because of the bristles (too short and soft).
Price: 1.4€
Link: here (similar)

This is my most expensive purchase, but it’s all worth it. I wanted something small (16.5 x 12 x 5.5cm) for events to fit just my phone, lipstick, perfume and powder. Has a chain also.
Price: 8€
Link: here

I love them, cheap and pretty.
Turquoise one: Price: 0.8€, Link: here
Brown one: Price: 0.8€, Link: here

I’m not a fan of necklaces, but I still wanted something to have and this caught my eye.

Forefoot Pads
I like shoes with a heel, but they are so painful sometimes, right? Luckily I found these as a solution for my boots.

These are perfect for when you like the look of tattoos but you don’t want a real one. They last up to 1 week, depends only on the place you put them.
Price: 1.3€

EarringebayI like unique earrings, I was so excited to wear this, but the disappointment hit me when I saw the colour, is not gold it’s a bright yellow.

Pret: 36Ron
Link: aici

Imi plac la nebunie, ieftine si dragute.
Cea turquoise: Pret: 4 Ron, Link: aici
Cea maro: Price: 4 Ron, Link: aici

Pret: 3 Ron
